Blue Star was created to address two growing problems at once: the lack of meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities and the rapidly increasing amount of electronic waste entering our communities.

Blue Star Recyclers is a Colorado-based nonprofit social enterprise that provides secure electronics recycling and IT asset disposition services while creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other barriers to employment.
Founded in 2009, Blue Star combines environmental sustainability with workforce inclusion by ethically recycling electronics, securely destroying data, and providing competitive, community-based employment where individuals can build skills and thrive in long-term careers.
